My Breakfast for Fast Mornings

Many days I don't have time to eat a full breakfast because I need to rush somewhere either to work, or appointments. But breakfast is in my view, the most important meal of the day and the most delicious. Breakfast can be a versatile meal, you can do sweet dishes or savory dishes. Breakfast gives you the creativity to experiment with ingredients to make a great meal.
I love to do oatmeal for fast mornings or rainy days. I usually take 1/2 cup of dried oats and put that in a saucepan filled with 1cup of either almond milk or skim milk. I let the mixture boil while stirring occassionally until it thickens. This takes about 4 minutes. Then I take my favorite almond butter (Justin's) and pour that on one side of my oatmeal bowl. Finally I add fresh fruit and VIOLA, all finished. I pair my breakfast with either tea or coffee mixed with a cinnamon creamer.
So this took me about 5 minutes total maybe 6! Definitely works for those hectic mornings......but if its REALLLY hectic, I opt for the donut run to my local bakery!
