Salem Witch Hunting

Day Trip to Salem!!! Salem is actually one of the cutest towns ever!!! It obviously is well known for the famous Salem Witch Trials pictured in Blockbuster: Hocus Pocus, but it is a very charming town with really cool people. (BTW, we saw many filiming locations of Hocus Pocus). We went to the Salem Witch museum which by the way is super cool cause you start the tour with a awesome show; It sorta felt like an old Disney ride. The best part was that in the gift shop, they were playing Harry Potter on the TV. (YASSS).

We then went to visit the Witch house which was not owned by witches, but a judge who actually was partially responsible for the innocent deaths of so called "witches". (cheery right?) Again it was really cool cause you walked around the house and could hear the creaky sounds every time you took a step which transports me back I think.

We had lunch at a place called Rockafellas which had the best hot cocoa for a chilly morning. I ordered the "Day After Sandwich" which actually if you ever had the holiday turkey sandwich at Earl of Sandwich, it is kinda like a panini version of that but with gravy to dip. SOOO GOOD. I'm salivating now writing about it.

As we left, we drove the longer scenic route to see the ocean while the sun was going down. I mean is there any other perfect way to end a day trip?
