The day started with a nice warm cup of coffee and a plate of avocado toast. Hipster ammiright!! Actually the avocado toast at the Four Points Hotel was a pretty bomb toast, so if ever in the area...your welcome. Today was Museum Day. Story time: My family loves museums, as a child who grew up with a smithsonian museum at her fingertips, your can bet your biscuits we are visiting museums any trip we are on. In fact this was my first time at the Met.
We walked through central park to get there and wow was it a gorgeous day. So warm, the grass so green and sooooo insta!! The Met was everything I loved an more: art, history, science, literature!! and yes, I was those people on the audio tour...sue me.
We spent most of the day there cause we had a show to see later tonight, but we somehow nudged in the Museum of Natural History...you know, the Ben Stiller movie one!!
Later that night we grabbed a "Pret" meal (Pret a Manger, for city folks, is like a lifeblood, seriously try it). Chicken Avocado Sandwich with greek yogurt and freshly squeezed lemonade!! Could you ask for a better pre-musical meal.
Miss Saigon, is what my sister chose to see, my decision was better but that is for tomorrows tale. Miss Saigon is a saaaaad story, it doesn't make you feel happy when you leave but hey....the music was good?...and the sets, the sets were cool!!
Honestly, it was a really productive day in NYC, but tomorrow holds a cult classic: Katz Deli!! I know I'm stoked!!
c'est la vie
